Our Story

We are a Muslim couple involved in teaching Islam, guiding Muslim parents and producing Muslim children’s books that reflect Islamic values and identity. After having children of our own we quickly realized a huge problem facing Muslim parents in the modern world! The ummah is lacking in basic quality resources that are essential for raising Muslim children in line with core Islamic values. Our children will uncritically consume whatever they are exposed to. The whole world is providing all sorts of content for children, some of which is even in direct opposition to Islamic teachings. After a lot of research we found that the problem especially effects the early stages of child development. There exists, alhamdulillah, some good quality Muslim children’s books and resources for older children, but for the ages of 0-5 there is almost nothing! Have you as a Muslim parent also come across this problem? Do not worry, because you are not alone, and we are working towards the solution! For parents, we provide a safe space where you can learn great tips to maximize your Islamic parenting potential. For young children, we are regularly releasing new books in which they can see their own values shining through on every page they turn.

Sh. Abu Salih Zeshan

I am first and foremost a proud father of two little ones! Hailing from the snowy kingdom of Norway, I am also a Muslim theologian and have spent more than 10 years studying the Islamic sciences in the Muslim world, graduating with a Master's in Islamic Legal Theory from the Islamic University of Madinah, and I am currently a PhD Research Fellow in Quranic Studies in Norway. I also work as a lecturer, imam and khatib.

Ust. Umm Salih Mishal

Muslimah mother of two, I was born and raised in the USA where I spent most of my life working with children in many different capacities. There, I completed my bachelors in Early Childhood Education before being granted the most wonderful opportunity to live in the city of the Prophet . In Madinah, I studied Arabic and Islam for 4 years and was also blessed with my 2 bundles of joy. Currently, along with being a full-time mother, I regularly hold lectures and halaqas for the sisters in my local community and online.
