Being a parent can be overwhelming.
We have so many responsibilities, so much to think about, and so many people to take care of.
We juggle so many responsibilities and are always thinking about the needs of our loved ones. It’s like there’s a never-ending to-do list constantly running through our minds, and despite constantly being busy, it can feel like nothing is getting done.
On top of all that, we may be facing personal challenges—whether it's health issues, family matters, or career hurdles—that only add to the stress. It's a lot to handle, especially while still trying to be a strong support for our kids.
In moments like these when everything feels a bit too much, and we are in desperate need of help, sometimes we don't even know what to ask for, we just know we need *anything* that will bring about a better situation.
When you're feeling like this, here is the perfect du'a from the Qur'an that you can make to help you through it.
رَبِّ إِنِّي لِمَا أَنزَلْتَ إِلَيَّ مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَقِيرٌ
My Lord, I am truly in [desperate] need of whatever good you may send down to me. (Qur'an 28:24)
This du'a was made by Musa (as) when he was in an incredibly tough situation, as he found himself all alone in a strange land with no family, shelter, or provisions. Yet, as a result of this du'a, Allah sent so much goodness his way, providing him with a job, a home, marriage, and even children.
Just as with Musa (as), Allah knows your situation, and He also knows exactly what you need in order to help your matters.
So why not add this du'a to your prayers? You may be surprised by the goodness that follows, bi'idhnillah.
